10 Productivity Techniques


Just 10 things that will make your work life a bit better.

  1. Set specific times to check email

  2. Set aside the last 15 minutes at the end of your day to plan for tomorrow

  3. Put your to do list in your calendar with specific times for each item

  4. If you leave a meeting without an action item – don’t go to the next meeting

  5. If you run meetings, plan action items for each attendee

  6. Schedule meetings for 45 minutes, most don’t really need an hour

  7. Figure out when you are most productive – schedule your most intense work in that time

  8. Make sure that what you are doing is: important to the business or your supervisor or you

  9. See if you can delegate tasks. Ask “are you the only person that can do this?”

  10. Are you working towards a clear mission and vision? If not, your organization needs one.
